Redscape

Redscape is a canvas print of original, human-made artwork by the artist Brooklyn HeartyNHB.

Artist’s statement

Inspired by documentaries about West Africa, Redscape contrasts vivid blue skies with rust-red earth and patches of green vegetation. Four trees frame a yellow circle in the ground, evoking a fairy ring. No fairies appear, but the clearing suggests a small, unexplained secret within the landscape.

This is a printed reproduction, not the original hand-painted canvas. The artwork is printed on the front only; the canvas sides are plain white.
