Brooklyn Hearty

About the Artist

Brooklyn Hearty works across painting and graphic art, exploring spiritual experience and the possibility of encounters with non-human intelligence.

The work develops intuitively, guided by feeling rather than a fixed symbolic system. Recognizable but nonrealistic figures, ancient deities, and unfamiliar presences give form to experiences that challenge ordinary perception.

White San Miguel Champion graphic hoodie modeled beside an apartment window

San Miguel Hoodie. A different kind of everyday.

San Miguel takes its subject from St Michael the Archangel, honored in Christian tradition as a defender against evil. Often depicted with a sword, he embodies the resolve to confront darkness and stand for what is good.

The artwork approaches this symbolism with simplicity and purity of intent. St Michael and his sword remain the focus: a direct expression of faith, protection, and moral clarity.

The artwork is printed on a Champion S700 hoodie, pairing the graphic with a medium-heavy 50% cotton, 50% polyester fabric for warmth and everyday comfort. A drawstring hood and kangaroo pocket complete the garment.
